Steel bollards

The areas of application of steel bollards are manifold. They are not only used for demarcation and marking, but also enable the cordoning off of areas and squares that should not be accessible to the general public. For example, bollards at pedestrian zones or in front of car parks can prevent unauthorised vehicles from accessing or parking.

Thieme GmbH's bollards and barrier posts are made of high-quality steel and stainless steel, among other materials. They can be used as conventional linear or free-standing bollards.

Steel bollards have to reconcile several, sometimes contradictory requirements. In their function as posts, they have the clear task of acting as a boundary for cars. In this way, they increase safety in road traffic and also preserve pedestrians' freedom of movement by protecting them from wild parking. They can also be used as folding posts to restrict access in many areas. Many steel bollards are available in different designs such as fixed, removable and foldable. The customer can choose between stainless steel, ground, or steel, hot-dip galvanised and colour-coated.

But a diverse range of accessories also means that open spaces with steel bollards can be designed not only functionally but also decoratively. These include chains, chain eyes, screw chain links, triangular keys, ground sockets and much more.
Whether on roadsides, driveways, parks and other squares, green spaces and pedestrian zones - steel bollards provide maximum functionality to implement creative solutions in accordance with the respective local area, for example in intelligent traffic routing.
