To make the pedestrian area safer, Quadro steel posts were installed, which can also be removed in an emergency.

In the Neue Bahnstadt West in Opladen, Series 725 litter bins also have been installed along the newly created green space. They match the modern design of the bridges and the square play area and contribute to the cleanliness of the site.
