Horizontal rotary barriers

In cases where unauthorized persons are to be prevented from accessing a site or path, but the use of a vertically opening barrier is impractical, rotary barriers are used. This type of barrier is particularly suitable for installation situations where the available space is limited. As a rule, a swing barrier can be rotated horizontally, but gimbal-mounted and rotating models are also available. Numerous turnstiles do not require a support bracket, which minimizes the installation costs of these barriers. The floor mounting is done either by screwing on the floor plates or by setting the mounting cage in concrete.

A special feature is the WES 215 turnstile which, thanks to its gimbal suspension, can swivel vertically as well as rotate horizontally and can therefore automatically adapt to rising or falling terrain behind the barrier. Due to its extreme robustness, this model is particularly suitable for use on industrial sites or as a forest barrier. The sturdy barrier is equipped with two tubular steel support posts and can be supplied with a length of up to 8 meters. As standard it can be locked with a padlock, optional locking options exist by means of a profile cylinder or triangular lock.
