In elderly care facilities such as nursing homes or care homes, patients often find themselves in dangerous situations, falling down stairs in wheelchairs or running the risk of falling down a flight of stairs. This not only endangers the patients themselves, but visitors and employees, who are on those stairs at that moment, are also in risk of injury.
For these cases, Thieme offers a solution in the form of special bollards such as the model SEGURO that do not compromise escape routes in case of danger. The stairs can be used as usual and the bollards can easily and quickly be removed without any tools.
